42. Prodigals and the Heart of a Father

In this episode Brett and Perry continue looking at what we can learn about the heart of a father based on the truth of what we see modeled by God as our Heavenly Father. For insight, they turn to Jesus's "Parable of the Lost Son," sometimes referred to as the Prodigal Son, as found in Luke chapter 15. Perry identifies with the prodigal son while Brett resonates more with the dutiful son, which leads to a lively discussion as they unpack key insights hidden in this story that have profound revelation about how we should act in the role of father toward our own kids — and when we fall short, how we can rest in the comfort of knowing God's heart toward us.

It’s a love without end, amen.”
